Due to the persistence of the COVID-19 emergency, the physical mobility of international students to Italy will be replaced, at least throughout 2020 (first semester of the academic year 2020/2021), with distance learning activities.

Students admitted with a foreign qualification can proceed with the enrollment only if they have the certificate of comparability of the final qualification issued by Cimea or the Declaration of Value issued by the Italian diplomatic mission abroad. The procedure for uploading documents is shown at the following link: https://en.uniroma2.it/admissions/how-to-apply/ where, based on the type of student, it is possible to  access the item “Enrollment Procedure Guide”. A tutorial in English to support registration, is available on the website https://en.uniroma2.it/

Subsequently, after the appropriate checks, the foreign students secretariat will send an email to the student with the information for the payment of the first installment, validation and printing of the serial number and password. The student in possession of the serial number will be able to access the online lessons

When the student will be able to physically arrive in Italy, he/she will bring the originals of the documents uploaded to the foreign student secretariat for the appropriate checks as well as the request for a residence permit (only non-EU citizens).

A series of “welcome” meetings have been set up to provide information on the University’s services, facilities, taxes and pagoPA. These meetings are also open to Italian students. For Biotechnology students, these welcome meetings will be held on 9, 10 and 15 September. Enrolled students will be contacted by email from the Welcome Office
